30 Bananas a Day!

Finally have started on the 80-10-10 diet having read the book and realising I was on a high fat raw vegan diet. Surprise, surprise!

But having some challenges e.g. some constipation (not drinking enough water since I already get so much in fruit), not feeling 'full' like I used to with high fat and of course the mental boredom with mono diet. BUT in just one week already I look younger so I am encouraged. I'm finding this diet very arduous to stick to. It requires a huge amount of will power.

Anyone with similar experience?

welcome aboard!

A good guideline to ensure ample hydration, in addition to all the fluid-rich produce, is to drink enough pure H20 to wee clear 8-12x daily.  

I certainly have trouble not being tempted by fatty foods. Its important to have high carb cooked foods as a back-up otherwise you will end up eating potato chips or something. If you eat enough carbs, you will not eat fat.

Thanks for your replies. It seems no matter how much I eat I always feel hungry, as if my body is missing something. Is it?

Today I ate a cooked vegan pie from the shop. Afterwards I wanted another one but didn't get one because it took at least two hours to digest!

Is this feeling of starving something that passes? I hope so .... confessions from an ex-high fat raw fooder.
