I really want to start this lifestyle...I have attempted several times...but only lasted a day or two and then I give up. I'm finding it hard to get full eating raw foods. It seems since my body is so used to eating cooked food and animal products that the raw foods don't seem to be "cutting it" I seem to get hungry shortly after eating. Not sure if it's just an adjustment thing since I only have given it a few days, or maybe I am just not combining the right foods? Any suggestions on someone starting from square one....Do I need to do baby steps? Like day by day slowly cut out the animal foods and cooked foods, because I was just jumping in full force...any information or recommendations would greatly be appreciated.
eat like a beast :)
The bottom line, for me, to stay healthy is, to stay away from mucus and acid producing foods (mostly grains, animal products (meat, eggs, dairy), some nuts and seeds, soybeans, fried and overly processed foods, and probably white potatoes), and eat a high fruit diet, with greens as a supplement when needed. That is the goal, although if you slip off, you could try: on the lower end, meat/ cheese substitutes and starches, and on the higher end sweet potatoes, peas, some fatty fruits, dried fruits, and starchy cooked fruit, and possibly some nuts and seeds (chestnuts, legumes, quinoa), which are all perfectly exceptable on a non or very low-mucus forming diet. You will also want to avoid table salt, refined sugar, and possibly certain other spices and condiments, as these are also mucus forming. Shoot for a high percentage of raw or non-mucus forming foods and increase the quality of your diet over time with more fruit and berries, with greens as needed. You will make it if you don't give up. This is man's natural food. God bless you...
Also you may be interpreting pangs in the stomach as hunger. These are healing crisis's from not eating your toxic foods. Real hunger is a feeling in the throat, and as you detox your body, you will assimilate food better and be able to eat less. Don't overeat, always stop before or right when you get full. IIf you are struggling with cravings, I suggest you fast for one or two days (while resting, after you've studied how to properly fast and recover) to reset your taste buds and start your body fresh on a healthier diet.
start by eating raw fruits and veggies till 4pm then eat what you want (as long as its vegan) after that.
Hello! I am new too!! Just 4 hours old in the 30bad world!! From what I have read and watched on the youtube videos is, if you are hungry that means you are not drinking enough water. Freelee said to drink a whole bunch of water (1 Lt) about 1/2 hour before you eat your raw food, your body will thank you for it. It aids in digestion as well. I hope that helps. Hope to speak with you soon. Have a great day, and keep going, don't give up!! If you are looking for a study buddy!! I will be here! =)
