30 Bananas a Day!

Need some big green smoothie advice for making it taste good

Ok i need my greens but i just cant eat them as a salad. They taste to bad so i have to make a smoothie out of them.

My green intake should be minimum 200g spinach and 100g lettuce a day.

So can i make all this in one smoothie or do i need 2 smoothies?

And also the important thing, i need to make it taste good so i have to use some fruit in the smoothie so it tastes good.

 

Can anyone please give me some great smoothie recipes wich include alot of greens but some fruits to make them taste great?

Ok thanx :) i just hate mixing alot of greens and fruit and throw it away because i failed
I do not understand how you can fail at a smoothie.. I never measure anything and they always turn out perfect. spinach goes with ANYTHING -- always tastes good..

Try 2-3 bananas (frozen if you like) plus some other fruit of your choice (1-2 apples or a small basket of strawberries or similar amount of other fruit) plus as much spinach as you can fit in the blender (probably about 150-250 grams). If you want to be safe, add less spinach and try whether it tastes too green for you already. You will adjust to be able to handle it more green with time.

What kind of blender are you using?  That makes a big difference for me.  When I used a regular, cheap blender I didn't like green smoothies, but now w/my Vitamix I like them.  It can blend the greens up much finer.  Maybe you already know this.  It also did take me awhile to get used to the taste, so I started with 1 lettuce leaf and gradually increased.  

 

Also if you can find mache, try that--it's the only green I like to just eat plain right now.  It has a really nice flavor.

 

I also add greens to fruit soups--like 2 Hawaiian papayas, 2 oranges, and a couple handfuls of spinach or mache.

If you are in the states, mache is at Trader Joe's, usually Whole Foods, and some other stores.  But it is sometimes off & on/limited supply.
i live in Norway so does its kind of hard :P
I have a really good blender, got it 3 months ago so there is no problem. 2 liter with 2 horsepower so its stronger then a vitamix i think :D
