This is a fruit which is grown on palm trees in very few places in South America. I found them in Cali Colombia, and now that I am fully addicted to them, I really need to know the nutritional contents but I am finding very little help on the web.
Theyre claim to fame here is the aphrodesiatic properties...the women selling them boast 10 children minimum and then men are always buying them for their wives.
The small information I found online claims that they are very high in fat but without any real proof of this.
Please if you have a unique fruit guide or other resource even personal with this fruit please let me know before I end up with 15 children and fat body from this addiction.
A mystery! :)
They look like persimmons, do they taste like persimmons?
