30 Bananas a Day!

Hello Fruits! I've been on this diet for almost 2 weeks and its great! It would be alot easier if I could tell my parents mostly my mother. I want to tell her that its healthy to eat this much fruits in a day. But I don't know how to tell her! Shes one of those people that strugle with weight and love food and loves to be healthy!And it could be the maen reason why i'm not gain weight or really losing anyweight at the moment. But shes verry much in calories restriction!

I do love her and shes also my motivaton in many things that I do in my life! From the begining of this I have been able to hid the fact I have been doing this fruit diet! But 2 days in a row I cheated because I couldn't say no to her home cooking. Since she maide it vegan and yes I have been vagan before coming on this fruit diet!

But the thing is that it had tofu and tufu chesse and coconut oil in it!!And when I look at her and said I can't eat she just got angry and cunfused. Becauses she maide it for me and my sister and well I explaind to her I wouldn't eat it since it had coconut oil and tofu. But then she got more made and explain that I need fat in my diet and coconut oil dosn't make you fat and stuff like that.

I just don't want her to get mad at me again and I now I need to prove the fact to her that it is in fact a healthy life style. Since she reades allot about nutriation! Pleas help me becauses I really want to do this life style soner then later. Bucauses not only my health will improve and my weight lose but most of all my runing! Will improve on this diet for life.

ok sure thing

Pretty easy Eva, your mum eats what she wants and so should you. 

Avoid conflict with those you live with but also be assertive and do what you want to do if its a healthy thing.

If a fatty vegan dish doesnt affect you now and then, eat it. If you don't like the way you perform the next day then skip it. Simple. :)

All right thank you Alice for share that you are also dealing with a mother like mine that worries allot about whats happening in my life.

I'm wondering if it would be as easy as letting her read 80/10/10. You say she enjoys reading about nutrition and does it frequently. Give her the book and ask her to read it and see how she feels about it then. I can't imagine that someone who is honestly interested in nutrition would completely dismiss it.

You know what I just order the book 80/10/10 and my mother ask me about it and shes a litle unsertend but still interested on reading it. Since her and I are vegeterian in the familly and she gets that being vegeterian is healthyer and becoming a vegeterian for over a year. Has improvements our health and our runing. So shes actully going keep a opend mined and may read it after me.

Frankly, if that is you in the picture, I think with your fitness level people should listen to what you have to say about nutrition.  And as a parent myself, I would think that if my daughter focused on the fact of how good she feels when explaining her diet, I would feel compelled to listen. 

Its not a picture of me but I use to look like that at one point just not as taned. Its just a goal for me to get back to. Just its a litle hard to keep it up since I am at University now. 

But thanks but I am sure that I can get back to it once I make more time  and working on a healthy life style like this one! :)
