I found this neat graphic. Based on my translation of it, a separation that occurred right around the most recent mass extinction. Two branches; it looks as if one branch includes a lot of carnivorous species, while the other branch is primarily plant eating.
Has anyone here ever seen this?
Maybe someone is translating it different and/or has education that would produce contrasting thoughts?
You might find this talk interesting, she says scientists really do not know what humans ate historically.
Its a great talk! :) I watched it awhile ago.
My intent with this photo is to be used as another tool in showing that we are not carnivores.
can you explain how, I'm not seeing what your talking about by just looking at the graph.
If you click the link and bring the photo to full-size. Then look at the right side and find where it says mass extinction, the most right one. Now look for "dogs, cats, seals" and "rodents, rabbits" Now, if you make a straight line left from the space between those titles, you can see a point at which the two titles I listed split.
This guy also confirms that we are not meant to eat meat.
