I'm RT4, been several months. Recently I have seen there's brown stains on my teeth. I brush twice a day with fluoride-free toothpaste and floss once a day. Always flush my mouth with water after eating too. I think they are from dates, I eat them pretty much every day but I have done so for about a year so I don't know what is going on. I've tried to brush the stains more and even scratch them but only some of them have lighten. I feel like there's more every day.
I'm going to dentist soon but they would probably blame all the sugar, so do you have any ideas what's happening?
I also don't drink coffee or anything like that.
I know I am late to this discussion, so may be by now you have been to the dentist and or solved the problem.
Anyways, I will still share some thoughts for future reference....
How often do you go to the dentist? It almost looks like plaque build up. A diet high in cooked foods and grains, even though vegan, can cause this issue.
Make sure you are eating enough calories.
Eat a snack or monomeal of oranges everyday.
Eat about 1/2 head of lettuce greens a day.
Make sure you fruit is ripe.
Good luck and Peace, PK
Actually I was at dentist yesterday and they cleaned my teeth and now they are cleaner than ever! :) Now I just hope I don't get them again.. I go to dentist once a year to check everything's alright. Thanks for the tips, at least now that my teeth are clean I want to keep them that way! ;)
