So I'm having bloat troubles. I've been raw on and off for about 9 months, and now for the past 3 months I have been 100%. I was eating SAD a little over a year ago. I had irritable bowel syndrome in the past.
I have had several mono-banana days, and they still rumble in my tummy and cause some lower intestinal bloating, frequent trips to the bathroom mostly just for gas, etc.
Twice I had heartburn at night, and it wakes me up.
I seem to be EXTREMELY sensitive to food combining. Even greens mess things up.
My exercise, water, and sunshine are all good. I probably average around 2700 calories a day. Sleep averages 8hrs a night.
I feel like something needs to change--my body has been continually giving me the same signals for 3 months. Has anyone else had bad experiences with digestion on this diet, even after being mindful of food combining? Any advice?
Smoothies won't spike your blood sugar if you add about 1/4+ of water into them :) give it a try.
