Just wanted to share my new favorite smoothie recipe.
I'm sure it's been done before many times, in fact i've done variations of it myself many times but today it just semmed to hit the perfect consistency and tasted like berry bliss! Even the non fruit loving husband liked it! Yay!
Recipe for sweet success....
5 large bananas (or 6 small to medium)
2 cups of frozen blueberries
2/3 cup of frozen raspberries
1 1/2 cups of water (give or take a little depending on how think or running you like it)
I think the raspberries is where I was stuffing up before, I would always just had a whole cup and liked it but with just 2/3 cup it's not as tangy!
The reason I use frozen berries is coz that's what I use in my cafe for SAD cakes and muffins. I hope one day I can use them for vegan cakes and muffins and hopefully the customers won't notice!
