I thought I posted this already, but WAPF is intending to come out against breastmilk tomorrow with the stance that if you don't eat a diet they approve of that your breastmilk is unfit and that you should make a formula that they promote.
Of course lactivists and the natural moms network in the blogosphere are outraged and there is a campaign to speak positively about the amazing awesomeness that is breastfeeding. Mother's need support for breastfeeding in this world, regardless of what they eat. Breastmilk is also very magical in that it filters breastmilk in the best way for each baby and is pretty constant in what it's composed of. Of course nutrition is important, but severely malnourished mothers(like in disasters, etc.) can produce good breastmilk for their babies, so it's completely ridiculous to suggest in any way that any formula is preferable to breastmilk.
There is also plenty of milk donors out there ready to share milk with babies who don't have enough or good quality for whatever reason. So I've posted on my site a link to my blog post and I'd love to hear from as many of you as possible, to create some understanding around breastmilk. Please share with your family and friends lest the new excuse for not breastfeeding will be I don't eat (enough) grass-fed beef and organs. :x

Where else in life do we ever get food perfectly customized to our individual needs but in our mother's arms?
Way to uphold the standard, Mera!
