I'm planning on moving to Thailand in the summer, the earliest would be next month.I plan to get a job there long-term and wanted to find a female roommate (sorry ladies only). If anyone is interested please please contact me.I am not 100%raw,but I would like to create an environment were we both can succeed.
Please get in touch if you are planning on living in Thailand,
I'm looking to stay there long term 3years+ well hoping forever I guess.Well let me know your plans if you are interested.I'll be working pretty much 6days a week got a job offer there :)
I'll be working as an English speaking nanny for awhile.
that so amazing, I'm so happy for you!, I remember a thread from a while go, you were having a discussion about moving back there, and if it was a good idea to leave school etc. I guess everything worked out for you. Now you make my dreams of moving to a warm country alive again :)
and did you end up leaving school and finding a job or are you just going with the flow?
Lots of luck on your journey
Aww thank you so much for your comment. It means a lot to me.
It was a struggle,I haven't finished school yet I can always go back and finish it.I got a job offer there and the money pays decent without a degree (I've been looking for jobs for so long) And I'll have access to quality fruit all year round which makes life much more easier :)
Its so nice, you'll be close to the fruit(and sun) indeed, and that makes up for a lot :)
Make sure to send us a picture of you with a bunch of tropical fruit!
A nanny job sounds pretty decent, I know it's so hard finding jobs, i've been looking for jobs as well but only seen to find things like teaching English. Do you have any tips where to look? I also dont have a degree but somehow want to make it happen.
I wish you many many fun in the sun, ripe tropical goodness and happiness in your homeland :) ..Ive been to indonesia once and it was amazing, if Thailand is anything like that..well..wow
Lots of greetings
I found it on this website.I had a good few job offered,I really cleaned up my CV and wrote a good cover letter. The problem was they wanted me to be there for an interview asap,so I couldn't make most of them since I live in Ireland.I actually asked to do skype interview, but some company don't accept that.
I don't have a degree, and I actually never mentioned anything about. But there are some good paying jobs if you a Thai national with good English.
Also I saw a few jobs in the past looking for westerners and no degree was needed.I get an email almost everyday informing me about new jobs.Try signing up and search for 'English'
Although a lot of jobs will require a degree,so you have to keep searching.
If I'm being honest I thought many times about opening my own business, but never followed through mainly due to fear.
Good luck :) would be awesome if we all met up there!
Thank you so much for this information!
Since you started this discussion I've been thinking about it all the time, and I feel like it will push me to new places :)
I'm thinking about a business as well but have also many fears that keep me down.
What kind of business did you have in mind?
You are a very kind person and I also wish you luck and I am dreaming of a lfrv house in the tropics now :)
I think they require a degree too?I know some people say you can get one without having any,but I actually have not found any.
What about the JOHO company, do you know them?
You can get rentals in Thailand for about 35$ a month. You can get amazing bananas when ripe for about 25c a lb.
Don't need much money to live simple in Thailand. :)
Ah yes DR,it's just I'm afraid being girl living in cheaper area tends to attract more crime etc.
how did you find this job? Are there any other openings?
