I my short experience with being a raw vegan (only about 4 weeks), I feel so much better eating mono meals, sitting down and eating 10 bananas, or eating 6 mangoes, or eating 30 dates. It make my tummy feel amazing and I feel more satisfied doing that! I experimented with smoothies and it just made my digestion all funny and slow :/ maybe it was detox or something else, but so far, I am LOVING mono meals! what about you guys? what makes you feel like you are running at 100%? and smoothie drinkers out there, what are some good combos i can try out?
i like the banana and vanilla extract idea!! thanks :) i wanna get more into different types of fruits and expand the fruit palette! so excited
Many of my meals are mono and or simple (start dinner with a salad).
I agree easier on my digestion, and often just more convenient. I usually eat fruit straight from the peel with no slicing, dicing, mincing, juicing or smoothies.
Smoothies burn my mouth, give me upset stomach, and the runs, (to the bathroom:-)
Makes me feel a lot better about not eating smoothies, I thought I was just weird :P
I'm just like you in this aspect.
Smoothies give me upset stomach.
But i'm hopping that this will pass sooner.
