I had a question about mono fruit island. I was wondering for anyone who has done melons, how many did you eat per day/what type of melon?
I saw a little info on watermelons but was specifically wondering about canteloupe/honeydew melons as well.

2500 minimum calories for women: Why 2500/3000 Calories A Day?
So getting that from a cantaloupe island day would mean eating about 2 medium melons an hour for 7 hours.
It is almost essential to track your intake on http://cronometer.com/ or the like when starting out, to make sure you eat enough. Weighing the edible portions is the most accurate way to do it.
Last summer I did mono-watermelons for about 3 weeks, one week off, and again for 2 weeks.
I track my calories @cronometer. I was eating about 2000-3000 cals. I adore high-water fruits [except cantaloupe/honeydew] , so for me watermelons were t-h-e best. During the first weeks I had mild detox, so took a week off [ate some greens/cucumber], and the following weeks added little bit of nectarines.
If You haven't tried fruit island, go for it :] Some guys feel their best on bananas, for me -- watermelons were the win-win. Just find Your best buddy for "island" :]
