30 Bananas a Day!

Hello all,

I'm wondering if any of you have had any experience of Meniers Disease?

my mam is suffering terrible with it lately and as I've now been vegan for 7wks and loving how I'm feeling from this lifestyle I'm really wanting her to try it. (however, she's not convinced) I've heard so many stories of people healing/recovering from many illnesses after switching to a whole food, plant based diet, I'm so curious if anyone else has any experience of this disease and if diet is a factor in it..? and if/how they overcome it?

my mam seems to think its nothing to do with diet and more that its an inner ear problem causing balance to go off centre.. which it is,, but the more I'm learning about how our food affects everything in our bodies, the more I'm thinking it must have something to do with it...!

it really is terrible seeing her so ill. one minute she's fine and then the next she's totally ill, violently sick and dizzy.. its nasty..

any advise would be great thanks

A very low sodium diet is usually recommended for people with meniers. 
Also reducing stress, caffeine and alcohol consumption.

My sister hasn't had an attack for several years but it can be very debilitating and in her case it has left her with ongoing hearing loss. Hope your mum feels better soon.
