So, I have been HCLF vegan for aprox. 4-5 months now and I am loving it. I am slim, so in the morning my belly is totally flat. But after my breakfast (most often monomeal of melons or bananas etc) my belly gets huge and then it just never goes down throughout the day, it just grows bigger with every meal. Might sound weird and shallow to ask about this, but will this change over time? Because it is kinda annoying to be honest when I´m i.e at the beach and stuff. I am drinking lots of water before every meal, I get enough sleep and I run every day.
I would be very happy to get some tips or someone´s experiences on this topic.

I have been on HCLF diet for a week and I'm experiencing the same. The issue is that I wear mostly fitted clothes and I am slim but after meals, I'm carrying this huge bump in the belly around and it doesn't make me feel that good.
More detail please. Sounds like very weak digestion or improper food combining. Could something you have eaten be the factor perhaps? How long are you eating after the melons? What are you having at NIGHT that you are putting melons on top of, in the morning?
I always try to eat monomeals for breakfast and lunch, but I like eating aprox 4-5 meals a day so perhaps I don´t have more than 2-3 hours between each meal. In the evening I often have rice with greens or potatoes etc and never fruit after that.
It is just really annoying because my stomach just never goes down during the day and even though I feel hungry, my stomach still feels really full somehow.

Do you use proper food combining one kind of melon at a time on a empty stomach. sweet fruit only with sweet or sub-acid acid only with acid or sub-acid..
And waiting times.. a lot of people say waiting just a half hour after melons for example.. or just an hour or so after fruit in general..
This list is more accurate out of my experience and they researched it..
how do i know.. after 2 hours i can still burp up apples if i ate apples.. after 3 hours not anymore. etc.
I only eat monomeals so I am pretty cautious about food combining.
Do you find that you have to wait until your meal completely digests before you eat the next? I am really bad at that because I love snacking all day long.

I hear ya! I can't take it! I feel bloated all day after I start eating. Just really full. And I find it uncomfortable too. I'm going to start teaching exercise classes soon and I am double in size in the middle, especially at night. I hate it…the morning is fine. Hoping it will get better...
