30 Bananas a Day!

I'm currently working dinner/closing shift at a restaurant and I need ideas for what I can bring for dinner. The place I'm working at is not vegan (there are none in my area ): ) and it does not have a fridge.

Easiest thing is to bring a smoothie in a cooler.

+1 smoothies are the best choice for jobs without breaks.  I used to work as a cook and I struggled to find the time to eat the fruit I had brought with me.  Bring smoothies with me that I could drink while working really made a huge difference.

Dates! And bananas. Or, like the others said, smoothies-you can pack them with some ice if you don't have a cooler. (Like, plastic bag it with some ice and put the smoothie inside.)

I must admit that I love mixing greens in with my high carb fruits. I bring lettuce wraps to school. I find the biggest leaf I can, normally turnip greens and fill it with chopped veggies.Raw vegan burritos can be a lot of fun too, and they don't have to be refrigerated! In addition to this I bring a little tote filled with bananas, dates, grapes, and whatever fruit I happen to have at the time. That way whenever I'm hungry I always have something.  I also find it fun to smash bananas in a bowl and sprinkle them with dates and coconut flakes. You don't have to do this before leaving, but if you keep them in your tote, have a big enough bowl and a fork you can whip it up in less than 2 minutes and it is filling, easy, and delicious. Definitely worth trying out.

I like Susie's answer!

If you don't want to have to bring a cooler (or one of those insulated lunch bags you can slip ice packs into) then a container of blueberries and grapes would probably be fine if you can keep it in an area that isn't too hot.  You can also have bananas and just cut the bananas up into the blueberries and grapes when it's time to eat, and you have a fruit salad.

Buy a cooler pack and stuff it with lettuce, avo, tomato and sliced mangoes to make raw burritos.  Easy and quick to put together.  A smoothie in a plastic container is good, mix up a salad with a raw dressing and put it in the biggest plastic container that will fit in your cooler (I find a soft cooler works well for getting a lot of food into it).  A big raw fruit salad-several bananas with date sauce or berries and cut up apples in same container good too.  Just be sure to take enough food or you'll be tempted with the smells of cooked food in the restaurant!
