30 Bananas a Day!

My doctor recently received my blood test results and she tells me that I am dangerously low in protein. My nails are long and strong and I feel quite fit. Is there such thing as an 'ideal' protein level?

should u ask your doctor that question?

Remember healthy people go and get themselves tested! All the data is collected from SICK people. Normal data is "sick" people data! Stop comparing yourself with sick people!

BTW whats the number they gave u?
I did ask her and she wasn't

very clear, only to say that it was 4. something when I was plain old vegan and that that was okay, but now it is only 1.4 or something. I also asked her if it was measured by the excess protein being released and if that was really a clear way to know that I didn't have enough and she mentioned it being measure by urea in the blood...

I was tested because I haven't menstruated in over a year and they have found big hormonal oddities that I have been referred to a specialist over. It is all very scary and I don't want to ignore something that might render me unable to get pregnant etc later on, yet I don't want to buy into allopathic medicinal bullshit either.
hmmm sound like serious! Sorry, I can't help you :)
Is it your albumin level that is 1.4?? I hope not b/c that would definitely be of great concern.
Perhaps...some measure of protein in the blood test...
I dont know if you ever heard this but no menstruation is a good sign. There have been olympic female athletes that do not menstruate. I even wrote a research paper in collleg and found that women in ancient Hindu civilisation did not menstruate. Women with heavy menstruation usually have poor S.A.D. diets

It can actually be a sign of ill health or health. Depends on the diet, body fat % and specific circumstances. For example, many female athletes have very low body fat % and thats why they dont menstruate, but it can be unhealthy as it can cause infertility.

Take care

Thanks Adam, important to recognize both sides!
can it be unhealthy in other ways except causing infertility?
Sure, but if I'm not ovulating, and unable to get pregnant it wouldn't be a good sign would it?
Did you see the info showing that women can ovulate and be fertile, but not menstruate? These are separate things.
