30 Bananas a Day!

I already knew this was coming and it is a common occurrence to lose your period but for how long does this usually happen before it comes back? Not that I'm complaining at all! haha. Just curious.

you lost menstruation "that is unnatural" but you still have your menstrual cycle". Menstruation "blood loss" is due to the weakness of the body that cannot reabsorb the natural enlargment of the endometrium during the early menstrual cycle when maybe your womb have to support a new littler body and hence growth his thickness.

otherwise is the ovum unfertilized that every woman every month with the luteolysis process and without blood loss, remove naturally with reabsorb process.

so, in a way, you are not sick anymore 

Amenorrhea can be caused by stress, genetic defects, hormonal disorders, metabolic disorders and anorexia. Sorry, but it is retrograde... if the body is weak, you can get amenorrhea. One of the reasons for it are malnutrition or simply hunger.

"weakness of the body because it can't reabsorb the lining"  Are you kidding me?   Please.   Take a biology/physiology class.  Never was our body supposed to absorb the lining.  It always sheds it, that's healthy!!  Higher estrogen will create a thicker lining, therefore heavier periods.  If you lose it then it's probably a change in hormones.  But please.  Alex, Don't listen.   Read up on it and relax, you were never sick before having a period.   Frankly. I love my period.

I don't want to answer your insult. If you are there you have a laptop so use it for search what exactly is the luteolysis and how restricted is your knowledge about your body.

I know a lot of people argue it is "natural" to lose your period on this lifestyle for whatever reasons... and that is what I believed as well for a couple of years. I thought it was great as a matter of fact!

Now, I realize I was not eating enough. When I found 30bad the light came on and the blood flowed again, which is ok because I really want to have a baby & even though I read you could supposedly still be ovulating - my body does not agree!

My conclusion is when you lose the flow - you are not eating enough! Read Freelee's experience to confirm. 

Yes a heavy uncomfortable period does not seem natural, but on this lifestyle that definitely won't be a problem:)

Jealous. Could be temporary and due to the switch in diet, depending on how long you have been eating this way. Give it several months to even out. It's true that high estrogen levels (which are not healthy) lead to heavier bleeding. I think it's possible that not menstruating can be due to an extremely healthy body but I think that is rare compared to the number of women who are not menstruating for other reasons, such as a shift in hormones or not eating enough. A lot of people say that not enough body fat will cause this but it's been my experience that not eating enough for weeks or months on end will cause menstruation to stop, regardless of body fat percentage or overall state of health.

In any case, I think the lower the fat in your diet, the less heavy your period will be. It will probably come back in its own time but with less pain and it will be lighter (assuming you had pain associated with it before). Just make sure you are not underrating, because this can cause a lot of problems for you down the road.

Not enough calories. Also are you eating avocados, soaked nuts or coconuts? If not, try adding limited amounts to your diet and see how you do. :()

Actually I am eating all of those Kalin. Also I highly doubt not enough calories is this issue as well. I make a valiant effort to get in at the least 2000 calories but on average I take in an average of 2500.

in nature the other mammals, except pet that eat cooked food, don't have blood loss in their menstrual cycle or at most a few drops.
the blood loos is related with the sheds of the endometrium, sheds unnatural and due to the weakness of the body, and not related with the ovum unfertilized that your body reabsorb.

speak of blood menstrual cycle as sickness of the woman body, for exemple:
