30 Bananas a Day!

After being mono frutarian for some time I noticed that I'm losing appetite. I can eat an apple or two and be full. I stay very active at the same time, run for 10-15 km every day, work out at the gym(strength is increasing) and do lots of other stuff. I also sleep less(6 hours is more than enough). Have anyone experienced that?

How can I be starving and don't realize it?

For me if you starve you want to eat, you feel hunger...I don't

I feel perfectly well, just wondering if anyone had the same experience

I remember a young lady on here who under ate for about 6 months while being active and thought she was doing fine.  But her hair began falling out and she had other symptoms but I don't remember what they were.  It is certainly possible to under eat and not realize it, apparently you can get a lot of energy from your adrenals. 


I'm not sure why you are losing your appetite.  I might try juicing enough oranges to get in 2500+ calories a day for a week and see if that restarted my appetite.

And then? what happened?

Feeling awesome on OJ?

I am struggling to keep up calories on fruit right now, and I love oranges, but can never find tasty oranges right now, so I was wondering, when you drink OJ, where are you getting it from? Bottled OJ, or is it freshly made with oranges you get?

i felt that way for a while. i thought i was eating enough because i was entirely able to maintain my very active lifestyle with a stressful job running around nyc. then my hair did start to fall out and i became very very tired. i started to get headaches and what not. got to keep the calories up - drink oj or dateorade. that's really helped me!  even now when i have no appetite and i feel like if i have to eat another piece of fruit (sweet or non-sweet) i might burst, i always go for oj or lots of dateorade!

Interesting... We all agree that we should listen to our bodies to tell us what and how much to eat but then when it  comes to food quantity why do we have to force ourselves to eat? I just don't get it.


Exactly BA!   We need to use all of our senses to make decisions, including our rational mind.  Using objective facts will ensure that we are making healthy choices.

When I am consistently eating high vibe, and my body is cleaning, my appetite has also reduced (but I still felt fine).  I think there are two reasons for this:  one, my body is going into a natural cleaning cycle and just wants to handle less food.  The other reason is that my body is using the food I get it with more efficiency.


It sounds like you're paying close attention to how you're feeling, monitoring yourself well.  I say keep doing that and you'll be fine.  How many calories are you eating now?

I eat about 700 calories.
I just had 700 calories for breakfast! That can't be enough
