Haha I posted this question a few weeks ago, only got one reply. I live right outside of Boston.

Hi Holli! I just wanted to say you definitely don't suck : ) I think most people fall off the wagon a few times before they find how to make this lifestyle work for them. I definitely have. It's most important to remember that this is a journey and that, even if you don't make the changes overnight, you will get there eventually. Even if it takes you a year or two, just think of how many years after that you will have to enjoy your health. I'm not a huge fan of citrus fruits either and I've found that bananas and dates are what keep me going strong on this lifestyle. I'm also a huge fan of apples, all kinds of berries, pears, and peaches. Sometimes, when I'm not feeling so motivated, I mentally go through my list of why I turned to 811 in the first place...I'll share a few with you and maybe they will help you feel motivated too : )
1. Health and Fitness - I want to be as healthy and fit as I can possibly be so I can enjoy life to the fullest!
2. Recovery from disordered eating.
3. To save the environment.
4. To live as compassionately as possible towards all creatures and not exploit other animals for my own needs.
5. To find happiness and be comfortable in my own skin.
I don't know if any of my motivations will help you, but good luck! I know you can do it : )
I am about 30 minutes south of Boston.
