I often get this question, which I am unable to answer.
What is the difference if I eat fruits and vegetables, compared to eating cooked foods and drinking additional water? Why is the water in fruits and vegetables so more special?
And why is the water in fruit better than the water in vegetables?
I am trying to find scientific papers and evidences and the exact nutrients that is in the fruit water, and why the water in fruits and vegetables (especially fruits) is so vital to our bodies.
I can't add to why the water is better, but that the raw foods are unadulterated, not denatured, and alive. You can see their live cells under a microscope. A roasted pumpkin seed and a tablespoon of water will not grow you a pumpkin - because that vital, special enzymatic and cellular activity has been destroyed.
And the fruit provides a higher number of calories (I.e. it is a denser food) which makes it more ideal than vegetables. It's probably why we are physiologically evolved to be frugivores. If you read 80/10/10, Doug Graham explains why we are frugivores in a clear, evidence-based table.
While I can't give you any scientific papers I can give you a collection of information that has been put together and is backed by science and logistics. It is also in favor of Natural Hygiene and Life Science principles so is in accord with most if not all of what 30BaD is based on.
Scroll down to Drinking with Meals, and then further down to What Type of Water is Bad/Good for answers to your questions. Hope this helps! :]
