Today I had a 10 banana smoothie mixed with barley grass juice powder and flax seeds for breakfast, 10 mandarin oranges, 1/2 cup strawberries and 1/2 cup cherries for lunch and then 5 bananas as a snack. Then, for dinner, I made a low sodium tomato sauce and put it on about 600 calories worth of corn pasta. Once I finished, all I could think about was "I want more, I want more!!"
I know that 30BAD is all about not restricting but is this desire to eat more pasta simply a craving that should be ignored? I don't want any more sweet fruit or any vegetables, just the pasta and sauce.
Has anyone else had this experience?
I would say almost all have had this experience. When I first got on this lifestyle I was eating as much as I desired. I was overeating for sure, and I did put on a few pounds of noticeable fat, but after awhile, after you nourish your body, your mind and body will become right. Youll eventually crave less food, and eat a normal amount for you, so for now, try to keep it high fruit till youve come to this point. We all do eventually.
Yes I've also definitely come across craving more even after I've eaten what seems like so much. At first I thought maybe after a while it would go away if I distract myself but by doing that the craving only got stronger. If you want more then I'd say go for it, there will be days where I'm super stuffed and still may want more(Which I now just have more of the carbs I'm craving) so don't feel like it's a bad thing. Most of us have been there. :)
