30 Bananas a Day!

Mother always said  "Don't play with your food" but hey, her food has already been played with by hundreds of different people before it got to her so why not play with ours a little bit, bring out that fruity fun within all of us.

It's not too hard to get hold of a Melon, in fact some of us were actually born with two Melons, no I'm just joking, we're not carving up any of those, we'll try & keep it vegan here, I don't think many of us dream of paleo cannibalism. Let me correct that *Any of us.

So anyhow, I'm sure you all have a knife, not for killing people with but more for chipping & chopping up some juicy melons, getting playful, getting creative, perishable artwork in a medium so vegetative.

Since as humans, we are a breed of creative minds & there is so much we can do with Melons, ask some teenage boys, they'll tell you.

You've probably cut your melon into slices, cut your Melons into squares, cut your melon straight out of the shell & even cut your melon into balls, so why not carve into your Melon, a pretty pattern or a face, or the 30BaD logo, that'd just be ace.

Don't forget to stock up with a few melons as I have a feeling some may be killed in action, brutally knived by a low fat raw vegan. But remember, though a few melons may not make it, they died for a good cause and their enzymes will live on, So you can eat them up, less waste, more taste, YumMM!

Reasons to join in:
  • It's 99.99999999999% Greener than oil painting.
  • It's soo fun it will be EPIC!
  • Our ancestors will have done it 1000s of years ago.
  • It will be very calming.
  • You really want to do it.
  • You have time.
  • Humans crave the good feeling of their work being appreciated.
  • I'll give you my cute kitten eyes if you don't.
  • This melon will shout at you also, grrrrarrr.

I am not expecting Pablo Picasso from you, those who have created the photos in the links above could of had years of practice, nor do I expect to see bright green pumpkins, but I know we can all create something great & don't try and be a perfectionist, if it looks bad, show us, we won't judge, you've tried, showing & sighing is better than hiding & crying. If you make it, we have to see it!

So let's get carving!

Here is a big shout out to Cantaloupe, Charentais, Galia, Honeydew, Santa Claus, Watermelon & others who made this possible.

PS: I'll try and find a prize but I'm sure the pride is quite a reward in it's self, plus it is fun.

No, I just do not know of any better jokes.

I am actually quite a serious person with zero libido (I blame my years of anorexia for both of those & my strict upper-middle class upbringing for the seriousness), I do not exactly have a funny side ether but today I have tried to create something funny to help market my product, the Melon carving competition, but I suppose I failed to add the humor.

Never mind though, I did try & I believe that that is all that truly matters.

& as for your Melon, it really does not matter how the final product turns out, just open your heart and create wonders & let your imadgination run free.

It is all for love.

PS: Youths attain their raging hormones from foods such as meat, dairy & soy products, which durian puberty, they cannot handle. high fat raw foodists will also attain hormones from substances such as maca powder. I also believe high fat diets act as an aphrodisiac. Therefore, our offspring, young low fat raw vegan youths should be immune to these effects.

Yours Sincerely,

Simon.
this is a good idea!
I cannot wait to see your Melon *wink*!
I dont really understand the mind in the gutter comment??? I hope some people try this and are not put off by some kind of insinuated negativity. The only thing that is intimidating is the skill level. It would be so awesome if more people could learn how to do this and show up at holiday parties with something as beautiful as this to really impress people and get them thinking about fruit!
I think we are all newbies, none of us will have a high skill level but we can al try.
Wow, if you can do that with a ripe banana, imagine what you could do with a melon!
