30 Bananas a Day!

Monday, I started eating LFRV.  I had been watching videos, reading books, and reading message board discussions for about 3 weeks.  Monday morning I had my last cooked/corpse meal.  After that, I have been 100% low-fat raw.  I have seen and heard about eating 14-15 bananas in just one sitting.  I like to eat throughout the day, so here's what I did:

Went to Whole Foods and bought enough ripe bananas to get me through the rest of the day and ordered a green juice.  I ate 5 bananas for lunch.  About an hour later, I had sever abdominal pain in the upper right area.  No nausea, and I tried to use the bathroom as much as I could.  I drank about a gallon of water that day and urine was clear, so I don't think hydration was the problem.  Slept great that night after pain went away, but I definitely under ate that day because I couldn't eat with the pain.

Day 2: Made a 5 banana smoothie from the remainder of the bananas, which were ripe.  I drank it slow (at lunch time) with no issue.  Breakfast was 1/2 watermelon. Drank 2 green juices and had about 7 medjool dates from Whole Foods for dinner.  No pain that day and slept well that night.

Day 3: Back on the bananas (I couldn't find a ripe banana to save my life; and I visited at least 3 or 4 places).  Wound up buying yellow bananas (organic) from Whole Foods with little to no spots.  Ate some organic apples and oranges throughout the day.  I didn't have set meals on this day as I just grazed.  The pain came back and was excrutiating.  I had a green juice later in the day that helped with the restroom "visits", but the pain stayed until I laid down for the night.

I know this is long-winded, but I wanted to provide as much info as I can for my question.  What's up with this severe pain?!  I am not going to give up, but I don't feel like I am educated enough on this lifestyle to just "push through" this kind of pain.

On the plus side: My vision was clearer, bags under eyes started going away, I was nowhere near as angry and tense as I can normally get, and the sleep was deep.  PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you so much for your response.  I tried searching this topic prior to posting my discussion and didn't have much luck.  I tried again using a couple of different key words and came across a post similar to mine (I think it was with watermelon though).  Don did respond to that post and I read some information in one of Don's articles about chromium deficiency being a possible cause.  I will look into this and let you all know.  I really hope I can tolerate bananas as I like them and want them to be a staple in my diet.  Plus, it's easier to get the necessary calories from bananas than it is other fruits.  That said, I do love oranges and I am okay with using other fruits.

Maybe it is kidneys?

I ad that issue a long long time ago when I did a cacao fast. It was before 811 book. Anyways. I had this pain. I tried drinking my own pee. That was what David Jubb told us to do in his book. I tried!  It hurt and I got a fever. Now I have never had a fever, it was intense, I heard voices fromt he other side, could hear people talking that were not there. I drank lots of water. It subsided the next day. I know it was from taking all that cacao. My kidneys. They were sore, my left one.

Thanks MADO!  I briefly thought about my kidneys because the pain was radiating around to my back.  The only thing is that my urine was clear, I felt hydrated, and the pain was much more intense in the abdomen.  I know I have many years of bad habits to "cleanse", and I am okay with that.  But, that pain was possibly the worst pain I have ever felt.  No nausea or vomiting usually associated with gall stones.  I am goint to keep studying this and testing out the chromium possibility.  Meanwhile, I am shying away from bananas until I feel more comfortable.

Good for you!!!

I've been in about 9 months now.  The thing to always keep in mind that the first 3 weeks are the toughest (n my opinion).  After the 3rd week you should really see positive changes

The hardest part are the cravings on the weekends.  If you can forge through Friday and Saturday - you're good to go.  The pain that you mention is mostly mental.  Keep up the good work

Thanks for the encouragement Jay!

Thanks Lekoma! I appreciate the insight and encouragement.
