Careful. Don't turn plastic on us..
yes mine is :)
Live on a fruit farm? Of course! There should be fruit farms everywhere. Quit jobs? No way, we just need to work for our real needs instead of our consumer addictions. Owning a fruit farm is very hard(but rewarding) work. I have lived in Hawaii the last 4.5 years on a fruit farm so I know.
We may even start working more than we do now (8 measly hours) but it will be rewarding labor of love!
There is still hundreds of acres on the big island. Come join us in paradise! If we could get enough 811 vegans over here we could rule this place! There are already way more here than anywhere else I have been.
Apparently the poles are shifting. I wonder if that will change the best place to live. I'm gonna wait and see before moving. :)
Yes that is one of my goals but Im thinking its better this goal was pursued together rather than alone, what do you say
The more people we can get to be in on this the more land we could buy to split. Land is cheaper when bought in bulk. So are other resources like solar power and rain catchment and fruit trees.
The more people can contribute to this the better off the whole community will be.
Lets get on this people! I have been there and done that already for 4 years in Hawaii. I know the ropes. We could find 200 acres and split it 50 ways..
I think that's an awesome idea!
Same, that sounds like a dream.
Anyone in New Mexico, West Texas, Arizona, Colorado or Utah? I'm headed in that direction soon & would love to meet up with some like minded people / fruitmunchers. Namaste, Mark
how's Hawaii...? can I buy land there (as a European), to create a fruit garden? which area is nice and not too expensive? I'm searching for a place, somewhere tropical...
