ive become rather conflicted between lifestyles like raw 801010, and the starch solution. cooked food doesnt necessarily make me feel physically horrible, but lately emotionaly because ive read so many conflicting views about cooked food. for me theres so much convenience in pasteurized juices and potatoes. it seems like rawtill4 is the happy medium. but i still want to know other peoples thoughts and experience on it.
Thanks man ! I'm gonna check some of this out.
I am aware of the "Taoist hermit" culture of ancient China. They were into health and alchemy and also very much into herbalism too. I'd imagine that some of these ancient Taoists of China knew something of raw foodism also.
There is a theory put forward by Richard Wrangham that cooking goes back as much as 2 million years and started with homo erectus. It was mastering fire and cooking that enabled homo sapiens to evolve.
Wrangham wrote a book called Catching Fire - How cooking makes us human.
I feel great on both. I find that I can eat a little less on cooked food.. and I sleep better when I have some cooked food.
