I'm loving the diet and feeling fab but sooo cold! I've never felt the cold before but now I'm only warm when I'm exercising, which unfortunately I can't be doing 24/7.
I'm easily averaging 3000+ calories a day is it that all my energy is focused on a big cell clear out I wonder?
During my first year following 80-10-10, I did also feel chilly a lot....it has since passed though, hopefully this won't last long for you.
That's good to know Robbie, glad I didn't start at the beginning of winter!
Yes all the time. But I was cold before I went 80-10-10. It started when I lost a lot of weight, I just figured it was to do with having low body fat.
But I do get colder when I eat a lot of times, especially if I eat grapes from the fridge.
Thanks Jamie - nice to know it isn't just me, I certainly have fat to lose and I can feel it melting away already just one week in so happy to be cold in that case lol x
Before losing 45lbs I was always hot even in the winter had to have a fan on me. After losing 45lbs I get cold now. What helps me is letting my food set till room temp, not taking hot showers and ending with cool water rinse.
I probably should have stated that I live in Glasgow which isn't a notoriously tropical climate.
When I became a lfrv, I also felt really cold for about a month and a half or two months, it has since passed. I just now remembered feeling cold lol, didn't even notice how it went away lol
It's normal to be especially cold after eating! Blood rushes to the stomach to aid in digestion, meaning less blood in the rest of your body, meaning you'll be chilly for a bit. Nothing to worry about!
Thanks for your responses all :) it's a small price to pay as everything else is brilliant - and a great reason to move somewhere tropical!
Me too :(
Hi Yulia, that is interesting - did you have weight to gain or lose as that might be the key?
I love SoCal, I've got family in Carlsbad and try to get over once a year, just adore it I'd move tomorrow :)
