30 Bananas a Day!

Hey Folks

Im helping to write a zine about a raw foods diet, particularly with some answers to more "unconventional" questions that arent typically answered.

I've been able to find tons of health information for a pregnant mama who is planning on carrying her pregnancy to term, but unfortunately no information about a pregnant mama who decided she is unable to carry her pregnancy to term for whatever reason.

So my overall question is "Is it healthy to be on a raw foods diet before/during/after and abortion? And if so, is there any thing else to know, such as any special needs of your body under those circumstances?"

Please, dont turn this into a discussion on whether abortion is right or wrong. If you wish to discuss that dont do it here, create your own thread. Many, many women have abortions all over the world each year. Many do it extremely unhealthily. I'm just gathering information about how to keep women as optimumly healthy as possible.

Thanks!

I would be most concerned with reacting differently to medications and anesthesia (sp?) as a long term raw foodist. Our bodies are WAY more sensitive to things that aren't ideal. I've heard of people having some very bad reactions in hospital situations.

There needs to be more study in this area, but I doubt there will be, because there are so few of us.

Blessings,

Audrey
After an abortion, to prevent likely infection, they might give every woman raw foodist or not instructions to take an antibiotic up to four times a day for could be seven days. What would someone do in that situation?
If you can, take liquid colloidal silver instead of the big-pharma brand antibiotics. It's safe, far more effective, kills only the bad bacteria, vegan, and not tested on animals.
I love how you are using your experience to motivate your career. this is very admirable!

I wonder if it would be preferable for an increase fat in the diet to help buffer the meds before and after surgeries?
question is leah, when is NOT giving our body what it needs to thrive, helpful for health?
Maybe a better question would be: "Is the ingestion of any food healthy during a health crisis such as a surgery?".
