i can relate. I also get sick and tired of eating sweet stuff all the time. and no salads dont always cut it in terms of something NOT sweet. Hence why I'll eat cooked at dinner time. Brown rice with raw veggies or potatos etc..
doing that generally fixes my hot food issue or food thats not sweet but still satiating.
Suggestion: warm (not cook) your foods.
For example, gently warm your smoothies on the stove.
I've never done this. I'll be trying it soon!
yeah I'll do warm water in smoothies so that i dont get chilled to the bone after having one. its not always as tasty but it grows on you and beets shivering after having one in the winter.
I used hot water(not boiling) for my date/berry smoothie once and it tasted just like berry cobbler!! :D
mmmmm, that sounds awesome! Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm eating tons of date this time of year and it works. It's easy to take to work in my backpack. But I guess I need to start paying attention to what's in season a bit better that's for sure.
Clementines have been awesome lately, but I'm right with ya waiting for April
Hot TEA especially Ron TEEGAURDENS tea. For variety sake spice it up add cayenne tumeric ginger garlic fresh or powder to your fruit and veggies it will warm u and cut the sweetness
I don't think it will harm me by any means but I am very passionate about eating as simple as possible. I like being able to eat everything as true to nature as possible. So i do suppose fruits can be warm in the hot summer sun. I've never really thought about that till I'm typing right now.
Great input, I'm appreciating all the support on this site.
Concerning myself, I am more sensitive to cold when I eat cooked food but all the ideas above are nice ideas to try...
