I just wanted to share a small story of success! Perhaps it will encourage others! Anyways, since January I have been transitioning to a raw vegan diet. I am almost there! At the moment I eat 75% or more raw (Just a guess) & 2500 minimum calories. I am still hanging on to my daily cup of coffee --- maybe one day I can do without it. ( Crossing fingers)
I have been lifting weights with my husband a lot. I only do a little bit of cardio. Anyways, I entered a contest at my gym back in January. My goal is to gain muscles!
Last night was the mid contest weigh in. I officially gained two pounds, but lost two percent of my body fat. I lost an inch around my waist. 1/2 inch at my thighs. My hips were also just a tad smaller.
The people were quite surprised to find out what I have been eating, and that my protein intake is just ten percent of my diet. It just goes to prove that you can get the results you want with hard work and eating the Correct diet.
I have also noticed increased strength on a daily basis in terms of picking my son up, handling the groceries, and everything. I am so much stronger.
