I'll toss a lasso out, you gotta run a a bit to catch it then I can help reel you back onto the bandwagon! C'mon!
It happens to me occasionally where ill eat something cooked, the best and only way to get back on track is to buy a mass amount of delicious fruits and eat them continually! :D
Check out Christina Carillo-Bucaram's and Megan Elizabeth's recipe vids on youtube! Especially check out ME's raw pita and raw pizza recipe!
Go through or make a new pros and cons list, pleasure and pain list to remind yourself why you don't eat certain foods and why you are going to eat others. I must remind myself of all the headaches, pains everywhere, fatigue, depression, etc. to help me to stay away from junk food as well as the benefit of loosing weight and keeping it off and having the mental clarity and energy to start moving and doing more fun things! We still have cooked vegan, but if it helps keep cravings under control it's worth it...especially since watermelon season is over and apple season is here - just can't eat equivalent to satiate the juice cravings! Keep positive, drink plenty of water and get enough sleep and you'll be back on the wagon in no time! Best wishes!
no biggie. direction is more important than where we're at. keep aiming for what you believe in.
Re-read some of 80-10-10, like some of the success stories at the back - or some of the parts on cooked food. Remember why you came to it in the first place - did you know/feel it was right? :-)
one step at a time. dont think of the big picture, too daunting and stressful. go get the banana. thats one step. take the first step, then the next. dont think "IM GOING TO BE RAW FOR LIFE!", think "Im going to get a banana." after you get the banana, then do the next step. just learned this way of thinking yesterday and it has already helped me :). hope it helps you <3
Obviously keep carbs around you AT ALL TIMES! And when you get a craving, shove them in your mouth. Then, for me, I found I did not really have the taste for greens but they did wonders for curing my cravings overall. I never had greens to get rid of an instant craving, but just incorporating them in my diet kept my cravings at bay in general.
Also, most if not all of us fall off while doing it. Just pay attention to how you feel. For me, cooked food made me lethargic and achy. And if eaten for too long, mucus-filled and just low energy. Use those symptoms as motivators and eventually when you look at that food, your body will not see the taste of the food, but rather the feeling you get from it.
