30 Bananas a Day!

I am extremely fussy when it comes to bananas! do I have a problem?

Am I the only one that will be highly selective when it comes to my bananas?

I am not proud to be like this and wish that i was normal because it would make my life so much easier...

1. I will refuse to buy and banana that has a grey tinge.

To me that means its been refrigerated to heavily?

2. If it has any bruisers or large black markings they get left behind.

3. And perhaps the worse of my condition is that I only select the first 3 or so in the front row of the bunch because to me they look like the most healthy??

The reason I am posting this to hopefully get some views from you guys and so that i can see where i stand.

If this is indeed a sickness I will try my best to snap out of it.

any comments will be appreciated

Do you also get rid of the ones that have black spots on them?

no, they are the only ones that I eat. Black spots = peak ripeness

yeah i wish i was brought up that way ersa but everything is so cosmetic here and i picked up this aweful trait of perfection and beauty.

I wish i knew a way to drop that way of thinking:(

i think like this, what if i buy the marked banana and i dont need it?

the problem is, because i am so fussy its very expensive for me to go crazy and buy the lot.

As a matter of fact, i say to myself why should i pay this much and not get the best!

right now they are $4 a kilo and its really hurting me to eat over 20 a day:(

maybe i should try and source very cheap boxes for emergency, ty 4 your way of thought ersa

i really hate wasting food though:(

i luv mangoes so much but i think they are out of season right now, thanks ersa for all your help i owe you bigtime!:P

yeah im just silly, when they sit on my bench for a week to ripen they all end up looking ugly anyway, i just have mental problems:P was hoping you guys could suggest a cure lol

I buy boxes of bananas. They're greener than the hulk when I purchase them. The only downside to this is that I have to wait for them to ripen.
I am very picky to ripe bananas. I only eat them when they are beyond ripe and just "fall off the bone" (aka the stalk) ripe.

I will not eat any banana that tastes unripe.

i am picky with bananas too!  they have to be PERFECTLY RIPE with no bruises otherwise i wont eat them lol not over ripe or under ripe at all
