30 Bananas a Day!

I have been having OJ every day and its very convenient to get fresh squeezed orange juice as the local juice shop. I will be traveling in UK suburbs and I want to juice oranges myself but not sure whats the best way to juice them when traveling.

I use the Breville orange juicer when I juice at home:

Should I buy an adapter and carry my Breville juicer with me? Or should I buy a juicer locally in UK? I have a manual juicer but its not very convenient when I need to juice like 40 oranges.

Thanks!

manual juicer to eliminate any power issues, but get the kind that's got a handle like a slot machine.  All different qualities and price points.  Don't have a recommendation off hand, but look for those with good reviews on amazon to start.

Thanks Windlord. I looked some up and they seem quite heavy and will be difficult for me to travel with (I will get ripped up for extra luggage too). Actually, my Breville juicer is quite heavy too.

Maybe I just buy a cheap electric juicer locally, use it while I am there and donate it there instead of bringing it back to US with me. May be worth the investment as I plan to drink a ton of orange juice (maybe make breakfast and lunch out of it). Other fruits were very expensive and hard to find when I last visited UK (a small town called Ulverston) and getting fresh OJ would be hard or extremely expensive.

if size/weight is an issue, your donation idea sounds reasonable.

FYI, asked a long-term fruity friend her juicer recommendation and learned:

By far the best hand juicer I have everused is the 1966 Italian Claber, it is like the Ferrari of hand citrus juicers, but is hard to find as it is 50 years old.
I think the oxo brand citrus juicer also works pretty well.
I will attach a photo of the Claber.
