how often is it normal to go to the loo (stool, not pee) ?

I heard dr Graham say 8 to 12 times for peeing but what about stool ?

Is there a healthy average ?

I'm unsure if there is a healthy average - ( "RESPONSE FROM YAHOO" MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THE DEFINITION OF A NORMAL BOWEL MOVEMENT IS HAVING ONE MOVEMENT A DAY, YET THIS IS NOT TRUE FOR ALL PEOPLE.  THERE IS NO RULE OF FREQUENCY OF BOWEL MOVEMENTS ) Myself, I usually have a healthy bowel movement everyday sometimes twice a day however occassionally I may have a day without movement.

Interesting topic. 
High-fruit makes me go a lot and I like it! Maybe 4 to 6 times a day?


Whilst on the topic...try to use a composting toilet and make the soil/Earth a better place instead of contaminating precious water!

I would'nt be suprised if I was constipated, myself knowing my past eating history :0)

I would'nt say my stool was gargantuan however since I've uped my fruit intake tenfold my stool output has increased immensley to what I would call a large bowel movement. It seems I've stil got alot a internal crap (pun intended) to move :0)

I do notice that when I have a cooked meal my digestion slows up considerably and thats when I have no bowel movement for a day of so.

Anything more than twice a week is abnormal. 


Crapping your body length per day is quite normal for healthy people. Get out a tape measure whilst your visiting the woods. 

more than twice a WEEK is ABNORMAL ?  Am I understanding you right ?

pretty much once per meal, about 2-3 times a day.. more is fine too.


around 3 or 4 times,,increasing amount,,every month.



May 811ers will claim after every meal. 

Before 811, I went once every two days. 

Now I go one time everyday, but it is very easy and clean and I could probably use that measuring stick DR was referring too:D  I am middle aged and beat myself up on SAD previously, so that might explain being less frequent.
