30 Bananas a Day!

If I don't work out 5 days a week and hardcore I start to go a little nutso.  Possible date or hanging out with a friend?  Not if it interferes with my work out schedule.  How much do you prioritize exercise over other activities?

Im not too much of a social butterfly in day to day life.. My exercise and "diet" are my top priorities, as well as my spirituality.
Its kinda funny now that I think about it. Most people are quite the opposite..
I exercise everyday for at least a half hour. I agree I go crazy if I just sit around all day! I definitely prioritize time for shopping for good food, preparing at eating food, exercise and sleeping above being social. I'm in college so that's really weird and I feel like an oddball sometimes but I know it's worth it :)

Same here :D

I workout everyday. I do bikram yoga, I love it, it's my sanity. One day a week I run & take a spin class just to take a break. I workout in the mornings so it doesn't interfere with other things that I want to do. But ultimately, because I love it, I don't mind.

I work out an hour a day, 5 days at the gym, 1 swimming and 1 stretching/yoga day at home. I too feel I'd go crazy if I just sat around all day. But then again I have a sedentary job, 8 hrs/day in front of the computer. After that kind of day I really need to move around, or my back starts hurting. I always make time for that one hour even if it means giving up other activities. It's not that I'm afraid to gain weight without it or anything similar, it's just necessary for me to feel good, sleep well, so it's definitely a priority :)

I set my alarm an hour earlier than I need to every morning to do my yoga self-practice :) My form of transport is my bicycle so I usually rack up about fifteen miles on that and then like to attend at least one class at my yoga school per day - sometimes two on my days off! I don't have a set rest day, just when I feel I need it but even then I'll do a short self-practice (that's a given every day in the life of a yogi!) and take a nice long walk.

I'm lucky to be part of a wonderful community that also enjoys such activities so many of the activities I do become social events! I usually go with a friend and we grab a smoothie afterwards or just bump into someone I know and when I'm back home visiting my family, my mum and I are hiking buddies! I think the trick is getting other people excited about exercise - turning it into fun and play rather than a chore :)

I don't specifically 'work out' but I go for a swim, or a long bike ride every day, sometimes more than once, especially if I have a lot of work and my ass gets numb sitting at the computer

I go a little bit nutty when I can't exercise, I have only been managing once a week lately and it's hard.  Once I started getting into to it, I loved it, i was a bit of an addict, I'd go just to get endorphin rushes... I knew that it happened at around the 18min mark so would make time for at least 18 mins a day.

I used to be an absolute sloth, non-exercising lazy bum and now I'm SO GRUMPY and psycho if I have a week off.

yep. I get angsty, agitated, easily annoyed, and grouchy. it's bad, but I need my exercise! :)

Fitness is my health crack!

Running creeks are oxygenated and life-giving.  Stagnant streams stink and turn green.

I'll take the former, because Windlord without a workout soon feels like:

I exercise every day at least 45-60 min! Get irritable if I don't! Too much energy on this lifestyle. I try to make workouts social so I get my friends involved! Hikes, rock climbing indoors and outdoors and cycling with a group, Nintendo Wii (Zumba) are social with active people :) I don't like hanging with lazy unhealthy people anymore lol  like my alone time though too so yoga and meditation are important for balance.  I try not to take workout too seriously just enjoy being active even if I just turn on music and dance around for 30 minutes! lol Make it fun and make time for socialization with people who are supportive. It's good for overall health :)
