I was woundering how much calories I can have since I staid most of the time in the rang of 2000 to 3000 calories. But one day I was just hundry and I eat 4000 calories. I was simply hungry so I eat. It may have to do to the affect that I ran for 1:30minutes the day before that.
Is this perfectlly acceptable? Or it could be that I didn't eaten enought calories on the day I ran? And maybe thats the raison why I eat more the next day after my run?
As long as you're meeting your minimums, it is fine, since you felt like eating. That is possible you were making up for a deficit on the running day. You expended a lot of energy. Eat more to live more we like to say :)
Ok thanks Windlord. I fell much better! :)
It's normal to eat a lot the day before or after a day of rigorous exercise. Your body probably wanted to restore its glycogen levels.
Thank you Gianni it makes sence but what is glycogen levels?
I always am waaayy more hungry the day after my long run (>15 miles)... I just make sure to eat more a couple days before or else I will feel run down and not recover well from the distance. I just listen to my body. It wants more carbs then I feed the fruit beast! :)
