30 Bananas a Day!

I was just wondering how many nuts is too many?

I haven't eaten any fat since I've been on this diet (except the very small amounts in juicy fruits) so haven't had to think about this at all. Is it better to include them in your diet and do they have benefits or would pure fruit be better? If I did start eating them then would it be better to eat a lot of fat one day then none for the rest of the week, or a little bit each day?

Doesn't Doug Graham use 4 oz. in his recipes? I don't have the book here to refer to. If so, that is a tiny amount.
If you look at FitDay.com they will tell you how many nuts to eat to stay within the 80/10/10 diet. Usually it depends on how many bananas you eat or how much fruit on that day. They have a great way to plug in and find out. Then you can decide, it is almost impossible to eat just one so you may want to check it out first to stay on the diet.~
When I want PEAK fitness and mental clarity, I stay away from nuts/seeds for at least a week. Otherwise I have on average a few handfuls a month.
Thanks for the reply. I definitely have better energy and clarity without nuts but I think I am missing certain things through excluding them from my diet completely. I'll try having them occasionally but avoid them if i need to be at peak performance level. Thanks again - my copy of 80/10/10 finally arrived like an hour ago so I won't have to bother everyone with such obvious questions anymore!
Why don't you log your intake using Chron-O-Meter or similar? Then you can enter what you're going to eat ahead of time and find out how many nuts you can eat before going over 10% of calories from fat.
Great idea - I should definitely use chronometer. How do you download it and is it free to use?
Great! Thanks for all the info. I'll give the online version a go and then try the other if that one's no good.
I don't eat seeds but what makes them worse than nuts? Just curious as I'm not a big fan anyway. I love young coconuts though. At the moment I just have the water which I don't think has much fat in but want to try the meat too. Any tips for opening one as i haven't been able to get into them yet? Thanks for the help :)
