I'd really love to hear from all of you about your struggles and achievements with detox. How long was it until you really started to reap the benefits from this lifestyle? And for any of you trying to lose weight, at what point did you start losing weight?
I've been 811 for 3 weeks, and I still do not have enough energy to start running or cycling again. I guess I am really interested in hearing everyone's story as motivation to keep going and to not give up. :)
Hey Ezd0g, do you eat mono-meals? Have you ever tried doing a banana island, mango island, etc? Both of these can help with bloating
I wouldn't blame everything on detox. If you're energy hasn't been there for a while then maybe something you're doing now is wrong (maybe you need to eat more etc). Alot of people here talk about detox all the time but what if you keep doing the same thing for a year and the "detox" symptoms dont go away? then you've wasted a whole year not running/cycling.
detox in my opinion is the flu-like symptoms some people get the first few DAYS, maybe a week.
I'm sure many will disagree though
It took me a few months to really start feeling fabulous, and it's gotten better progressively since. But I had been abusing my body for 40+ years and had a lot of 're-training' to do.
Hi Jenna- It took me a few months to get used to eating so much fruit, and while I was detoxing, and while there were some days of discomfort from detox, the big thing was getting enough calories. As my calorie intake increased, I began to experience not only higher energy levels, but also some of the highest I had ever felt. Best wishes. -Jman
