30 Bananas a Day!

I am doing the raw til 4 program, and my fruit meals have my crying. My stomach cramps and feels like its churning, and twisting for the first 10 minutes after my meals.

I am doing mono meals so I know it's not the fruit mixing.
I did raw vegan for 6 months and was fine, but this time around I am doing raw until 4, and the fruit.... yikes.

Once the fruit leaves my stomach I am fine, I just have the worrrrssst pains after I eat, followed by a lot of burping/ air trying to come up and out.

I need to stop this, it' so uncomfortable that I am lying on the floor curled up after I eat.

I am worried and not sure what to do, I was reading and feel like maybe I have

it's just

Please help! Does anyone else get this?

What´s the quality and state of the fruit you eat? Is it both ripe and mature? If not, this would be the culprit that comes to mind first for me.

Yes, ripe and mature. I always make sure my fruit is ripe.
Could it be because it's not organic?
But this also happened with organic fruit so I don't think that's why.

It's really bad!

Does it happen with non citrus fruit as well? E.g. when you mono bananas?

It happens with dates!

I am not sure if it happens with bananas, I don't remember, I think it does.

Drinking sufficient water to be fully hydrated before eating my fruit meal works for me, followed by few stalks of celery if I feel any digestive discomfort.  In the past I ate watermelon on a very dehydrated system which resulted in "melon belly", ouch, I read/saw somewhere about eating celery for relief and it worked like magic!  Celery is amazing! :-)

I always drink plenty of water.

Is it the salt in the celery?

Hey there!  :-)

Here's a video titled "Fruit Eaters Stomach Pain Remedy (AKA Melon Belly: Fast Remedy)" by Alicia Grant at RawSynergyTV where she mentions eating celery or lettuce after your fruit meals for relief of stomach pains.

She also included a link to an article on Don Bennett's site that explains it all thoroughly.

Did any of Alicia Grant's or Don Bennett's info help?  Has your stomach been feeling any better? :-)

What kinds of fruits are you eating? Many people (including myself) get reactions like these to core fruits--such as apples or pears.
