Can anybody tell me how I should be eating whilst doing night shifts on this lifestyle? I've only been doing raw till 4 for 2 months and work night shifts most weekends. So I'll be awake from about 24 hours on the day that I do the first night shift. I usually end up eating 4-5 meals where as I usually have 3. I've tried to get up later but my body just won't sleep during the day. The tiredness makes me want to eat even more so the fruit and smoothies are perfect for sugar cravings but what about cooked food? When should I eat that?
Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks :-)
Apologies for using the wrong discussion board, I'm new to 30bad. Thanks for the great advice, I think it's probably best to go fully raw when on shift anyway, I felt a bit sick last last night having had some cooked food then some extra dates as felt hungry again at 6am!
I have the same problem! I bring as many bananas and dates as I can, also apples(they travel well). Orange juice is also good, but if you have the kind of job where you can't be running to the bathroom often definitely stick with bananas, dates, and other dried fruits. As for cooked food, when I was doing raw til 4 I'd cook up a bunch of rice and potatoes with some veggies and bring that in a tupperware. But now that I'm back to fully raw, I just eat as many bananas as I have time for at work and make up for the lack with a bowl of banana ice cream when I get home. I've found eating late at night when I'm fully raw doesn't give me any problems.
