Good, and Vegan! plant protein digests quicker than whey or casein. Have you tried soy? GNC just came out with a soy isolate protein that has 28 grams of protein per serving.
thanks for the response all check that soy protein out :)
Many bad things about soy. I've looked at studies and have found positive things about soy (mainly in Asian countries, where it is fermented and non-gmo). Most soy beans here are GMO and even if they are not, they contain riboflavins which may mimic estrogen like hormones in the body. I have read that in a few studies on PubMed.
For that reason alone, I would stay away from soy. Hemp is killer though! $$ but it's the holy grail of protein as far as I'm concerned... just the money factor.
WIth that being said, I drink the occasional carton of Soy Milk (organic) , but I'm not sure I'd drink it everyday for a prolonged period of time. I'd go hemp or rice?
It taste like soil, its dehydrated, i think its an industrial residue, just like bran, molasse or beet pulp.
Fruit is much much better
I agree with what's been posted below. Health supplements are not needed if you have a proper diet.
