I got dandruff, and it can be hella painful sometimes. I used to use anti-dandruff shampoo, and it got rid of the pain and itchiness as long as I used it once a week. But now I don't use any soaps anymore since the past 2 or 3 months, and the dandruff as driving me crazy. I'm thinking about going back to the shampoo. Is it really that harmful to use it? Couldn't I just use it until I detox more fully and don't have problems with it anymore? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Dandruff = fungus inside your body, have you try sodium bicarbonate as shampoo. fungus dosen't like alkaline
no, i haven't tried it. have you used it before for this issue? i'm hoping someone with experience with this can give me some pointers.
No i don't have dandruff, i would look for the cause of the problem first, treat the cause not the symptoms. You can do some research to see what fungus feed on.
My husband had really bad dandruff when we first met. His hairwas about two inches in length and he wore caps all the time. It was snowing all the time :) I eventually cut all his hair off just like they have their hair in the army and his problem disappeared right away.
If you do decide to go back to shampoo, I recommend Brohnner's. Until I go 100% raw I'll just keep on using it 1-2 times a week. Works very nicely and is not full of abrasive chemicals like the generic brands of shampoo have.
