It is a documentary about an Australian guy who goes on a 60 day juice fast. It's very inspirational.
It inspired my dad who has been ill for years and struggling to try low fat raw for 60 days. He started yesterday, I'm so excited!
Check it out. http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com/
It's on Netflix!
Yes, I watched it on Netflix after someone mentioned it on 30BAD. I got really choked up watching the ending with the truck driver jogging outside in the shirt he was given. I thought it was totally amazing.
Best of luck to your dad!!!!
I watched this movie a while ago and it inspired me to try a juice fast which lasted all of 4 days for me before I re-affirmed to myself that juicing is not worth the effort for the most part (occassional juicing is OK), it removes the fiber which aids in digestion for one thing also chewing leafy green things is more beneficial than juicing them for a couple of reasons...
Anyway, from reading Freelee's comment about his current physical appearance I'm gonna go ahead say it isn't a long-term solution for health maintenance...
Yeah it is a simple a good story. I really like the trucker guy at one cheeseburger away from a heart attack.
Food Inc., Ingredients Matter, and other similar titles are pretty cool too.
