A quick question, what do you guys think about green peas? Lately I've added them to my potatoes for dinner or in my salads and really started to enjoy them. Are they bad for you in some way or can I just keep going like this? Are they easy for digestion?
cooked or raw?
you want to eat young peas raw...because they get starchy when they are older
I love young peas XD, I cant find any raw though around here so I usually buy them canned. I don't really eat a ton though so I wouldn't know much about digestion for them, never had a problem after eating 1 can though:p
I like green peas very much.
good tasty choice for a side dish of a cooked carb dinner that is centered on potatoes rice pasta etc.
A little high in protein(peas) so you'll want to use them as a side/condiment if you must have them
sometimes i like to add raw fresh young green peas to my salads or make a raw soup :)
It's a VEGETABLE - what could be wrong with it??? I think that once you start asking members on this site for their opinions on vegetables, you need to rethink things a bit.
Exactly! Peas are great. At one time, I was eating half a kilo in a sitting.
