i like staples such as yams potatoes rice beans corn grits corn pasta
whole wheat pasta is a sometimes food when i am really hungry
try them all out and see what you like best
I tend to eat potatoes (russet, yukon gold, etc), beans (mostly black <3), and brown rice. When it comes to pasta, I've been wanting to try corn pasta and buy more whole grain since I mostly eat semolina pasta.
im a white rice girl, it agrees with my digestion much better.
For pasta i always go gluten free, rice pasta tastes much better than corn pasta to me so i opt for rice pasta.
As for potatoes any kind will do and sweet potato is great too.
quinoa is great also and so are chia seeds soaked :)
I think its more trial and error, find what digests best for you :)
