I have a very hard time finding Medjool Dates in my area that doesn't cost me and arm and a leg. Is there a company that you would recommend to buy Medjool dates from? I want to get a shipment of them sent to me. Any suggestions would be wonderful.
Peace and Love.
What country are you in?
I'm in the US
Here you go - their dates are fabulous - and a great price if you order in bulk. They're all out for now, but will have more sometime this summer. I always get my dates within two or three days of ordering. And they are very fresh and delicious.
I've been waiting to order dates for FOREVER just because I find it difficult to spend that much money in one shot, but after reading your post I went ahead and did it. I got these --
It turned out that with shipping for 13lbs., each pound came to about 4.50, which is the lowest I've seen. Although now I feel like I just bought a house and have buyer's remorse. I hope they're good :)

Do you know if they're fresh or dried?

This is the cheapest i've found, about $47 for a 15 lb box of deglet noor's.
medjool dates will always be more expensive than any other kind of date, so if you don't have too much $, and a lot of us don't, i'd opt for a different, less costly type of date, such as honey, deglet, or khadrawi.
Dear knight, are those blondies as big as their medjools? (which are nice and wet & soft), since I tried some of their barhis too and they are so small (delish though) that they take three dates to equal the same calories as one dedjool. So it's 3X more time & effort.
Wow, i'm glad i happened upon this discussion. Dates are hard to find in my area, except in certain seasons. I had been looking for a place to find some. I just placed an order with medjooldates.com, for a few varieties, i can't wait! I got the sampler pack, it's 8 lbs of 4 different organic varieties for about $37, plus some medjools.
You guys are amazing! thank you for the help!
Do you have a Trader Joe's in your region? While I doubt their organic, I've been very impressed lately by their medjules, at just $4 for a pound. While I'm not a 100% sure, They're so juicy that I don't think they have been heat-treated either.
