30 Bananas a Day!

I want to eat fully raw. the thought of eating whole foods at its freshest pleases me.
However, i get bored very easily so i would need a lot of raw nice dinner recipes to keep me going!
But, if i wanted to, could i have the whole weekend to be a cooked weekend? or just have one day? or would that fuck up with my body?
i would probably have 1/2 cup of rice, or quinoa or 1 sweet potato..depends on what im feeling.
Would this be okay? or could i possibly gain weight doing this and just stick to fully raw...which is pretty hard whilst im living with my family / at university.
Thanks!

There are many raw dinner options out there ranging from different salads, soups, and if you have the proper tools then you could make raw pizzas, sandwhiches, wraps, etc. Tannyraw has a ton of amazing raw recipes and they all taste delicious. I'd recommend watching her for ideas and inspiration. And if you want to have cooked food on the weekend then you should have it without feeling like it's a bad thing, just as long as you keep your fat intake around/below 10% and stay high carb then you shouldn't worry about weight gain.(and one cooked potato isn't going to cause you to balloon up) hope this helps :D
Thank you! I'm glad I got helpful information! I make 'zoodles' but I've just been trying to find raw vegan low fat sauces to make. Experimenting will happen though :) Do you know any other raw youtubers? I don't follow too many! I guess I wouldn't 'balloon' up haha, but it's complicated. I'll just have to see how my body reacts :)

Haha no problem, there are a ton of raw youtubers, you just have to find some that you agree with and like to watch. Tanny is the only youtuber I watch on a frequent basis this a raw. I make vids as well but im more RT4 due to financial issues at the moment. I'm starting to make more raw recipes though because I find them fun.

Okay i'll look her up!:) Yeah raw till 4 is easier for me whilst im a student too haha.

some raw sauces i make are:

-8 oz mango, 1/4 avocado

-1 tomato, 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, lemon juice, 1/4 avocado

-2 oranges, 2 tbs sesame seeds, curry+turmeric+paprika powder

-2 tomatos, 1/3 cup sundried tomato, 1 apple, 3 dates, basil

Fullyraw kristina has tons more recipes too!

ive heard so many people use sundried tomatoes! i will have to try this! x

When I was raw, ive eaten 2000-1800-2500 kcal (2 weeks fullyrawchallenge ) after that ate cooked, gained water weight. Then something changed with me. Ive eaten 2200 kcal just plain ol white rice just for dinner and already eaten 2000 kcal worth fruit. And guess what, ive lost water weight quickly and some fat and my energy is amazing! Just carb up and dont restrict yourself from cooked food or doing the raw thing because you think youll lose weight faster and dont focus on losing weight. Your goal is to lose weight and that goal wil remain the same unless you carb up. Thats the only way to stay strong and focus on important things
I understand your experience however, I like eating raw. I like feeling fresh and light and I don't always feel that with potatoes and rice. I understand the weight loss comment, however I just wanted to know if mixing up raw and cooked days would be okay on my digestion system, if anyone has had any experiences or is doing this currently now. of course I'll just have to trial and error.
Dates and bananas are a vegans best friends :D smoothies are great to smash it in
I've made this before so I don't need breakfast recipes. I said dinner recipes.
Do you need an "recipe" to be satisfied? You could eat fruits and vegetables for dinner. You could watch on youtube which recipe you want

Hey!

Everyone is different so you'll get wildly different advice!

For me personally I just try to eat as much raw food as possible. I never "plan" to eat cooked foods. For me personally if I try to always eat 100% raw, once in a while I'll have my rice or potatoes when I run out of fruit, and its not big deal.

But if I "plan" to eat cooked food, a few times a week, then I just end up eating it everyday.

Everyone is different, hey, totally worth it, I FEEL AMAZING RIGHT NOW. EXTREME MENTAL CLARITY!!!!!!!!!!

The main tip I can give you is this WHEN YOU GO TO THE STORE TO BUY FRUIT BUY A HUGE AMOUNT OF BANANAS. They are very cheap if you live in the USA (didn't check your profile) and having large amount of raw fruit on hand is the only way to eat a raw diet. You can never let yourself run out.

I buy anywhere from 70-120 pounds of bananas per week!!! Once the bananas get spots...that SAME DAY...I immediately put them into my refrigerator. This extends the list of the ripe bananas for several days!

If you are living on campus, you will need to buy a small personal refrigerator and fill it with bananas ($100) or get a second large refrigerator if your roommates agree to have it in the living room! That is the only way I would do it...I am not a big fan of being shy about my fruit, or trying to hide it from other people. YOU  WILL RUN OUT OF FRUIT TOO MUCH IF YOU DO THAT.
