30 Bananas a Day!

Ever since I've started this diet, I've needed to wake up at least 2 times a night to pee. It is very annoying. Does anyone have any ideas of how to avoid this?

You can try to eat the more juicier fruits in the earlier half of the day and eat dates and/or bananas at the last meal.  But I think most folks do get used to a few bathroom runs in the night.  It's worth it to stay hydrated and vibrant.

you can drink ahead of time, but you need to stay hydrated, that is absolutely critical!

i also get up two times at night, but fall asleep right away. if you are worried that your sleep is interrupted by this, it isn't, you have a 3 hours cycle. at the end of each cycle, you basicly wake up but if there is nothing to notice you will just go into the next one without remembering. if you now have to use the bathroom, you will wake up but not during a cycle!

In my experience, having to pee during the night only interrupts your sleep if you get annoyed about it.

When I first started to pee a few times every night, it really felt like it messed up my sleep. But that was only because I cursed and got really cranky everytime I had to go to the toilet.

And ever since I got that "homing device" installed in my brain (the one Harrison also seems to have installed) it really hasn't bothered me much.

I mostly just pee in a bottle - or go to the toilet if the bottle gets filled up before sun rises :)

LOL Right there with ya. Mine is just once a night though.

Only 2 times a night? Lucky! Seriously, it's a good thing.

Try to avoid bright lights(or any light if possible) when you get up at night because this will affect your hormone production. Melatonin is produced when you are exposed to darkness and this makes your brain go into sleep mode. Light exposure will cause the secretion of serotonin to wake you up because your body will think its day time..

It helps a lot to sleep in a very dark room and have red or green colored night lights to get around at night. 

If i fill up a 64oz bottle overnight Im know Im doing well with my hydration.

oh my, you and your bottle may have just solved my problem.... i've been up 8+ times a night lately.
