30 Bananas a Day!

I have already noticed great changes to my body. I am surely toning up, but i have not seen any change on the scale. Has anyone experienced the same thing? Please let me know. I have been eating LFRV for 2 weeks now. I feel great, but i was also expecting a change on the scale.

I would think body composition would be your best measurement. The scale can be deceptive since you will have changes in fat, muscle, and stored fluid; all of which have different densities. try charting your lean body mass percentage or inches instead.
Throw your scale out.  If you keep at LFRV and exercise, you're going to build muscle, but also probably increase bone density and replace your glycogen stores.  These things can actually cause net weight gain if you didnt have a lot of extra fat to lose.  Also, short term changes in weight are almost entirely the result of water weight.  Definitely go by how you feel and look because they are much more reliable indicators of health and progress  :)

Agreed, I came to post a similar post. The number on the scales is a wholly unhelpful thing and serves to distract us from our amazing progress. How our clothes fit, our measurements and how we feel are much better indicators.

I would add to focus on increasing your fitness/running times etc Claudia instead of thinking about your weight.

 

Our weight can naturally fluctuate daily depending on many factors, the ones often overlooked are whats in our colons, glycogen stores and fluid retention due to a b12 deficiency/hormonal factors, and salt consumption.

This is the best summation of how fitness/wellness progression should be measured. Before finding 30Bad I never thought about it this way, and even after watching tons of videos from Feelee and Harley, not until now it clicked. Thank you Freely!
That makes a lot of sense. I have always used the scale as a weight tracking mechanism, i guess you can call it my vice.
You and almost everyone else! I think this is why weight loss is such a booming industry, focus on the scales often means failure in the long term to keep the weight off. If the weight loss industry were so successful it wouldn't be booming like it is. :)
Have you experienced the same thing? If so, have you noticed physical changes to your body?

Yes, I don't own a pair of scales, so I was shocked when I got on a friend's scales and and it said 66 kilos when my normal weight was 60 kilos. Even though I'd started fitting into clothes I couldn't fit into for years and my indicator pants (pants I use to indicate where I am in regards to my body shape) were loose!

I thought at first that there was some mistake, the scales were off or something, but she is a personal trainer and keeps close tabs on here weight and said the scales were right on track.

Now for me, I'd always known that muscle weighed more than fat, but this much? But clothes don't lie, if you look slimmer and you fit into clothes that were previously tight or you weren't able to fit into, thats the proof of the pudding. 

For me it really brought home why I feel scales are silly! :) Don't worry about it!
