30 Bananas a Day!

i encountered gary through a rather amusing set of circumstances. he is one powerful advocate for animals! his website is www.adaptt.org (and was featured on towardsfreedom about a month ago)

you can get a sample of his wonderful dynamics in this intro at georgia tech in this youtube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bagt5L9wXGo

check his site out too and you'll find just how committed he is to this most important cause that is an essential part of human evolution.

This guy is great! His website is an amazing resource, and he has a most impressive CV:

Lecturing is a softer approach for Yourofsky, who has been arrested numerous times for random acts of kindness and compassion, and banished by five foreign countries from entering their borders. In 1997, Gary even liberated 1,542 minks scheduled for certain death from the Eberts Fur Farm in Blenheim, Ontario.

How many people can say they've been banned from entering the UK without having even stepped foot there? =D
ya he's pretty cool!

another good activist friend of mine, susan hargreaves (http://www.humaneeducatorsreachingout.com/) - actually the one who got me started in animal rights - commented recently to me after seeing gary in action that she thought times have really changed since she did high school talks because if she'd said some of the things he does 2 decades ago, she'd be shown the door. so i told her that times have indeed changed because someone like gary makes them change.

Thanks Prad! I could certainly see myself giving talks on similar subjects, something to consider.
you'd be excellent!
especially with that philosophical beard.

Hi,

Received the following from Gary worth the investment in your time to watch this.

Take Care,

After giving nearly 2,000 lectures in 160 schools in 28 states to more than 50,000 students, it’s time for everyone to witness the most powerful, informative vegan speech ever. With Malcolm X’s force and a little of George Carlin’s humor (the hell with modesty), I take most students on a life-changing journey!

I focus on ethics but also touch on health and environmental reasons for embracing the vegan lifestyle. I explain what to eat, and even use the recent MFA footage at Conklin Dairy in Ohio to open up the dairy section (PART 5) which is followed by a massive, tough-love, eye-opening scolding. It’s must-see! The speech happened at Georgia Tech in July for 180 students.

This speech will add fuel to your fire and offer up some great lines when discussing veganism with those obtuse meat-eating members of our society. Please share this speech with others.

WATCH THE ENTIRE 70-MINUTE LECTURE HERE (cut and paste the link below):

The link doesn't work. Is there somewhere you can view this lecture with the Q&A session included?

This speech is fantastic.  I'm very happy to have come across it.

Thanks for the video! I hadnt seen him before! He's a very powerful speaker!
David yeah great point,

Superduper nice guy as well but he really is an activists because he acts for them as he mentions.

He offers so many excellent points so when one is in everyday life you can pose points that will get some people to think in a different way.

I love how he uses Rosa parks, Jesus as examples to laws.

I love his points on what is on tv animal products, medicines they are trying to kill you.

I love his point about animals have not done one single thing to us to deserve the wrath of man.

I love how he say's I ain't a politician. Leave your mark on this planet with the least amount of harm possible.

I will continue to watch the rest of them.

Take Care,
